Carrie Jones, ND, Provider & Naturopathic Medical Director

Dr. Carrie Jones is the naturopathic director at Sherwood Family Medicine and is accepting new patients at this time. She has been in a successful private practice for several years in Tigard and has now transplanted her practice to SFM. With a vision of integrating medical and naturopathic care for a holistic approach to health care, she has joined our group and is currently accepting new patients. She functions as a primary care physician for many of her patients. Patients can choose to have Dr. Jones as their primary care provider, or they can choose to see her on an as needed basis to integrate her naturopathic care with their medical care. Dr. Rice is an adult and pediatric naturopathic physician and is accepting new patients.  She worked as a midwife and have delivered hundreds of babies. Ryan has worked for the past 10 years in family practice providing primary care. He is accepting new adult and pediatric patients.  This dedicated family man and father of two,  spent 10 years directing a youth camp outside of Bend prior to his medical carrer.  He has a strong emphasis working with children and adolescents. Alicia Marrah-Pierson, FNP, (Family Nurse Practitioner) Provider

Alicia received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Portland, OR. After working as a registered nurse for several years, she received her Master’s in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees from Washington State University in Vancouver, WA. Alicia is a primary healthcare provider (PCP) in family practice and is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Sarah Ahlschlager, Staff: Clinic Manager

Sarah has a wealth of experience managing medical practices for the last 18 years . She’s the mother of three rambunctious, adorable girls at home…and mother to the rest of us ”grownup wannabes” at work. She was the only girl in a family of boys and was the “office manager” at home at the ripe old age of 4.  She grew up in Oregon and loves spending time with family, her job, staying healthy and helping others.  Feel free to call Sarah or email her at

Elizabeth Lewis, PA, Provider

Elizabeth is a primary healthcare provider and is currently accepting new patients.  She attended graduate school at Duke University’s Physician Assistant Program where she received a Master of Health Sciences degree and PA Certificate of Completion.   She also has a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with honors distinction from Bates College and is a member of Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society and the College Key National Honor Society.  She is nationally certified as a Physician Assistant through the American Academy of Physician Assistants.  Read more about Elizabeth

Jennifer Lucas, FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) Provider

Jenn Lucas is the latest primary care provider to SFM.  She is a family nurse practitioner which means she loves to care of children and adults, the entire family.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work and later her Masters in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine.  Her expertise and special interests lie in preventative medicine, family medicine, and general wellness care.  She loves to see adults and children and is accepting new patients.
